Why Soy Wax?!..

Some of the top reasons to choose our soy wax candles over paraffin wax candles are obvious-

1. Soy wax is natural, derived from soybean, soy wax is a hydrogenerated vegetable oil that turns to a solid at room temperature. Soy wax contains nothing artificial, which makes it a better alternative to paraffin wax; which is made from petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted.

2. Paraffin wax can contain benzene- many BIG BOX brands make their candles with paraffin wax to attract customers with the strong scent parrafin is known to hold. The American Cancer Society classifies benzene as a carcinogen- a substance that promotes the growth of cancer.

3. Soy wax is environmentally friendly because soy beans are a renewable resource, as paraffin wax is made of petroleum; which is not a renewable resource. If you are pregnant, have kids, or have pets you want to avoid wax blends or candles that don't list the exact ingredient breakdown---> our candles are two ingredients (soy + fragrance oil!)!

4. Soy wax burns cleaner because it is made of all natural materials. Soy wax burns cleaner than petroleum from that of paraffin wax candles, which has been known to cause headaches when the petroleum and/or other chemicals are released from burning candles.
